Extended Essay Overview

What exactly is the extended essay (EE)? It is as 4000 word paper that you start in the fall of your junior year and finish the winter of your senior year. The EE is an independent paper that you write with the guidance of a supervisor and the extended essay coordinator (me!). You can write on any subject that you have taken an IB course in  (preferably an HL course) and on a topic you have not already done extensive research in. This guide is here to help you in the process and give you resources that you can use to write the best essay possible. You will also be given access to Google Classroom where assignments will be turned in and materials will be posted.
